Tuesday Afternoon

The roller coaster continues.................after several "good" days we had a litttle scare last night with a dip in some of Terre's diagnostics. Pressure was up and oxygen was down but with the watchful eyes of his caregivers, changes were made and after a few hours things returned to sort of where they had been. Fluid in the lungs, as expected with folks lying in his position for such extended periods, is something the staff are now addressing with an array of methods.

So overall we are still stable and sort of okay for now but last nights events are a sobering reminder that eventhough stability persists, dips have and will continue to be part of Terre's recovery. Lots of folks have been coming together to help with the fundraiser tonight and we are expecting a great turnout despite the rain. The pay-pal account seems to be functioning properly and my fiance' Kim Wynn has successfully upgraded our account in order to get a better rate and have a greater percentage of the generosity of Terre's friends and family go where we think they'll need it most. Keep the prayers, vibes, positive thoughts and generous donations coming as all are greatly needed and appreciated. Thanks so much everyone!!!!!!!

  1. I just read about what happened to Terre today in the paper, such a shock. But Terre is a fighter and great guy and those people always stick around for another day.
I ran into Terre a couple weeks ago for the first time in years at the fairgrounds kicking around the rugby ball. It was that same old big smile and friendliness that I remember of Terre and I remember thinking how great it was to see him after all this time.
Jill, if you need anything, please let me know. I can bring you things in IF or run errands. I am not working right now and have plenty of time to do whatever you need. My boyfriend spent 2 1/2 weeks in SLC ICU this winter and I learned not to say no to help and support, please take me up on it if you need anything. We are all here for you and sending great healing thoughts Terre's way. Going to run up to FIB and send some $$ your way too.

    All the best,

  2. Hey my friend, Uruchurtu told me about your situation and I got in contact with Brent and he filled me in on the rest of it. Well, I know you are a tough enough to get through this, hell I should know, I played football with you. I talked to ya a few months ago on facebook and I have to tell you that of all the people I came in contact with on there, contact with you was the highlight of all. You and your family have always been great towards me and I have been appreciative of that. I sent some money your way and will send more later. Anyway my friend, you take care of yourself and know that you are on my mind and in my prayers along with your family.
