So far so good...............from the beginning we were told that 3-5 days after his fall would be the toughest on Terre. The nature of this type of injury, according to the staff, is that recuperation and swelling are at their worst during this time. But Big T, being who we all know he is, seems a little ahead of the game. Doctor's are implying that because his swelling started sooner, perhaps he's further along than most at this stage. Thus this being day 4.........could be what they expected for day 5 for normal people, not our TERR-Bear.
We are not saying we are out-of-the-woods or over the hump, but so far things seem stable. Terre's diagnostics seem to be holding steady and although still not yet ideal, occasionally are improving. Pressure in the injured areas also seems to have moderated. The forecast has changed somewhat however as they no longer are planning to wake him up Sunday but now are hoping he'll stay still and peaceful until Tuesday. This enabling more oppurtunities for healing and recovery.
So hold tight and let's stay with it. For those listening in the Jackson area looks like Cutty's Bar at the "Y" is going to allow us to have a fundraising get together Tuesday night from around 7-9pm. My old bluegrass band is hopefully gonna play and if y'all will help me spread the word, we'll have a good turnout despite the short notice. Hopefull this will help alleviate some anticipated financial stress on Jill and Terre.
We also hope that all the kinks are now worked out with the donations, if anyone has any problems, please email me asap at pootmcfly@hotmail.com. Thanks

Needless to say, there are many in Island park following this blog & thinking good thoughts for Terre...
